Sign up to forum doesn't work

My problem is that no matter how many times I tried to register for my forum, it doesn't work. I tried to create test user accounts, added Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail addresses, the activation e-mail is never sent out. Do I have to set e-mail server settings for this to work, or what can be the problem? I even cannot see these users in the User list as non activated.

Post the URL of your forum so we attempt to register as well and report if we have the same problem.

MEanwhile it seems working. I noticed that when I installed the forum, I didn't activate my account, after that it seemed to work. But maybe there is not any relation between these two things. The first few user I registered didn't receive the confirmation e-mail, but later ones did, and with a delay of 2-3 hours, the first one also received it. If the problem will appear again, I will link the forum, but it seems now the proble disappeared.

Rarely there is a server problem at Nabble. It is possible you hit one of those - always confusing when you are new and not quite sure what to expect.
