Is there anyway to log a user out automatically when the log out of the website?
Are you getting reports from users of this problem?
I'm guessing you're seeing this effect only while testing on your own computer.
When visiting a Nabble forum various cookies are set. One will include your username - even one you used as an unregistered user and at the next visit by the same user on the same machine Nabble will read the cookie and assume you want to act as the same Nabble user again. This should not be a problem for normal users on your forum.
Also, is it possible to login the user into the forum when they log into the website?
Short answer: No! (Because your site and the forum are hosted on different servers, there is no secure way to share data registration data.)
However, because of the previous answer, this is not normally a problem.
Some don't even bother to demand registration by users when the main site itself requires user log-on (though that does mean that users need to use the captcha facility with each post).
Even if you do force users to register by changing the User Permissions on Nabble, the cookie should make log-on automatic - providing the user has not explicitly logged out from the forum on his previous visit.
Volunteer Helper - but recommending that users move off the platform!
