Sending mail from one user to another fails with "missing domain" erro

52n
When a user tries to send an e-mail to someone else who send any message with a signature containing an e-mail, he receives a error message:
###
Send Email to [hidden email]

Missing domain

Please fix the error and try again.

Is there any configuration switch to fix this?

There is no configuration at Nabble to fix this. I understand that the message will appear only because the domain no longer exists. A user can still logon using an email address with a defunct domain, but obviously, no mail can be sent there.

Is the recipient an active member of the forum? If so, you could post explaining the problem and suggest they update their Personal Information

The forum administrator should have access to the true address and will be able to confirm whether the domain/email address works.

Hi Greg,
thanks for your reply.

I am sorry, but your assumption is wrong in terms of having a defunct domain. Any other ideas?

Kind regards!

I think I may have misunderstood the problem.

Please post the URL of a topic that demonstrates the issue?
