SSL Security issues with the embedding coding

Ok, I've figured out that my earlier issue of only seeing an external link instead of the whole embedded forum was because of the SSL Certificate on my website.  I have turned that off, and can now see the forum. But is there any way around this? I'd rather not leave the SSL deactivated, but want to have the forum on my page, not have my visitors leave my website. Thinking I may need to look at different forum options.

Seems no simple solution for this on our side. Nabble is on its way out and a better forum software is in development.
