Ciao....when users respond to a forum post by email, in their reply is also the text of the previous post. Is there a way to avoid it. Thank you and good day.

He should erase this text when he is writing the email. Usually, the previous email appears on your message input, but you can set your email client to avoid it.

If the poster refuses to cut the unwanted quote of a message then the best you can do to clean up your forum is to add the Administrator-only permission "Edit-all".  That will enable you to go into anyone's post and remove the unwanted quoted text.

It's probably best to email the poster to them them what you are doing and why, so they don't get concerned to see that their post shows as being edited. It might help persuade them to change their ways.

Thanks Greg, I added the permission "edit all" to the Administrator and I deleted the unwanted text from the post, as you said. I'll think of how to explain it to my users.
