Removing information from Google search results

showmybelt
I put in a request on Google to remove certain search results (my name) linked to a message board I was I was using on nabble. I was denied this removal request and Google responded with this...

"The content you submitted for cache removal appears on a live page."

"As you may know, information in our search results is actually located on publicly available webpages. Even if we removed this page from our index, the content in question would still be available on the web."

"To remove this information from our search results and from the web, you'll need to contact the webmaster of the site in question. Once the webmaster makes the change, you can submit a request to remove the cached copy or simply wait for our search results to reflect this change the next time we crawl the page."

Webmaster, could you please help me with this, it will be very much appreciated. Thanks

Hugo, almost all of the threads have been deleted on our website (friendswastingtime.com). If possible, could make our entire website "not live" so Google stops grabbing url's from our message board. We have stopped posting on the message board for awhile now because Google was linking our names to their search results. All in all we all want the message board deleted and "not live" so Google stops grabbing material from the site.

Here are a few links of the topics we want removed...

Thank you so much for the quick response and all your help Hugo, I appreciate it.

Re: Removing information from Google search results

I just want to remember that we have a feature to "hide" the forum, posts and everything from search engines. You can find this by clicking on "Options > Editor > Change appearance" (Extra features / Hide contents from search engines). According to your descriptions, that feature should solve your problem. Another solution is to make the forum completely private so that it is also protected from other visitors (non-members). So, do you really want to delete everything instead of hiding the information from unwanted visitors/bots?
