Removing a Forum

Joan
How do I remove a forum without deleting my account?  I have more than one forum.

Go to the forum you want to delete and click on "Options > Delete...". Another option is just leave the forum alone and it will be scheduled for deletion if people don't visit it. Read more: http://www.nabble.com/help/Answer.jtp?id=53

Are you the owner/administrator of the forum?
If yes, then please post a link to the forum and I will take a look.

Re: Removing a Forum

I asked the original question and also had no delete option.  My forum link is http://n2.nabble.com/Money-Free-Living-Windsor-f2187335.html
Thank-you.

The delete option will be fixed by the next release. Note that it will delete only the forum, not the threads and posts. If you want to delete the whole structure, I can do this for you. Please let me know what you think.

Read my reply on that thread. There is no need to delete that forum because you can reuse it.

Not sure what you mean by can delete only the forum and not the posts and threads.  Is the forum not made up of all the posts and threads?

Re: Removing a Forum

No, you can imagine a forum as a folder and messages as files. The delete option doesn't delete the whole structure. It deletes just the folder (i.e., the forum) and messages would still live without a parent and would still be found under their author's profile page. If these messages don't get visits, our garbage collector process will schedule them for deletion (but user can still save them).
