Remove "Send Email to" option

Hi There,

I want to know if  "Send Email" option can be removed?

I was testing and found out that it returns with original user email address.I am worried about user privacy ?
Please disable this option.

It is the nature of the technology that emails show the address of the sender - so that you can reply. Anyone who sends an email must know that! How can there be any surprise or breach of privacy or confidentiality in that?

If you want to stop users communicating outside of your forum then it is possible for you to remove the "send email to xxxx" by editing the appropriate NAML macro.

I believe that all you need to to remove the "Send Email to xxx" link from the User Profile page is to delete this group of lines:

<n.if.not.local_user.is_deactivated>
<then.local_user.send_email_to_user_link/>
</n.if.not.local_user.is_deactivated> 

from the Macro:    profile_header
