Registered vs non-registered users...

This post was updated on .
I would like to be able to do this, posted by Steve M (?) a few months ago:
http://realevertonians.966203.n3.nabble.com/Say-Hello-tp1472796p1479213.html

I cannot get this to occur and have removed my Blog and Forum from one of my websites.

I have tested posting without registering on someone elses Forum (Sorry!)... I was stopped and told that I had to have a Name, so I entered a Name, and after a short period of waiting, and despite being told that "The validation code did not match the picture.", I was allowed to post... BUT I don't know what the Forum settings were...

Steve, or anyone else, please can you help me...

Oooops... Just noticed that the Register option brings up Page Not Found, from either links...

I have set this up now with Authenticate... so everyone has to register... But for one area, sub-category(?), I want to be more selective, so I'm going to set up a Members Group...

Anyone got any tips?
