Hi Anne,
That's strange. I created a user account for myself and didn't get any email after registering. The only email I got was to click a link to activate mt account. I have been sending manual emails to new users. Support team pls help with this thanks!! ------------------ From: "mywaytoo [via Nabble Support]" <[hidden email]>

There's too many "I"s in that to be sure I understand. Which is "I" the user and which is "I" the admin? The first email that Anne refers to is the one sent to a user in the process of registering, asking them to confirm their address. (Once they do that they automatically are added to the "Registered" group.) The second is the one Admin receive after the newly registered user makes the confirmation. The second mail is only generated if an Admin user has selected the option at: OPTIONS > APPLICATION > EXTRAS & ADD-ONS > EMAIL & NOTIFICATIONS

Hi!
Thanks for your email. Sorry for the confusion! So yes both of these emails are received as a user and as an admin. What I as admin is now requesting for is- after the user confirms their email address and become registered on the form, they should receive another email welcoming them to the site. That is, I as admin want to be able to send users an automated email welcoming them to my forum and if possible customise it with information on where they should start in the forum. I hope my request is clearer now :) Thanks ------------------ From: "GregChapman [via Nabble Support]" <[hidden email]>

(In full pedant mode): I think you meant "each" not "both" (Isn't the ability of language to confuse wonderful!) Currently, there is no facility for that as part of the standard service. No reason for not adding it, if you have sufficient programming skills to generate the NAML to do it. (I don't, so I'd be investigating the facilities of my mail program to generate an automated reply to the notification I'd get.) The other option is to pay for "Premium Support" and get one of the Nabble Team to write the NAML for you.

I do that manually too, but I send them free knitting patterns and add them to my gmail contacts list at the same time. I guess that could be automated, or partially, too...
