Hi,
    I just wanted to confirm that email addresses of people who subscribe to my forum are not passed onto any third parties. I can probably get my club's committee to live with paying $5 to remove advertising but I couldn't get them to live with our club members receiving unsolicited emails.

You can be sure this is not going to happen. We also hate spam and unsolicited emails. Besides that, all emails sent by Nabble have an unsubscribe link at the footer, so it should be easy to get rid of them when desired. We should also remember you that the list of emails in your forum will be visible to the forum Administrators (this is a user group that you can control by adding/removing users). So you should trust anyone that becomes an admin in your forum.
