Privacy Violation

bibleman2
Someone is using my picture and pretending to be me in their posting on a Nabble Site.

Can this be stopped and if so, how do I report it?

Re: Privacy Violation

Initially, you should report it to the owner of the forum.

That is normally the creator and their name/avatar is shown on the bottom of the forum's home page.

Click on it and you'll be taken to a page where you can send the creator an email.

Thanks Greg

I had already reported it to the site owner and he said he couldn't do anything about it.

Can this be reported to Nabble for them to take action against the site owner or the poster that used my picture and pretended to be me?

If you select the Flag on the right hand side of the screen when reading a post, this will highlight a problem directly to Nabble.

Either that or you can post the link to the posts here or you can send the information to me by clicking on my name (left site of this post) and sending me a message.

Thanks mywaytoo

I did that, but not sure Nabble could recognize why I flagged those posts. There was no way to tell them the picture was used without permission.

I only realized because I followed the thread. I'm already talking to the forum owner and this issue will get resolved in a few minutes, I believe.

Re: Privacy Violation

Thanks Peter

This person who did this is just attempting to defame and assisinate my character for their own gain. This same person previously had a Nabble blog site and did the same thing there before it was shut down. I am a Christian Minister and receive many threats and attempts to defame me on a regular basis.

Appreciate your help
