"Post to mailing list still pending"

thisisterrible
OK, I am not a registered user at Nabble. I just registered today for the first time. However, for the past year I have been receiving this email from Nabble, every single day, and it is really really annoying and I can't make it stop.

Since I wasn't registered with Nabble, everytime I clicked the link in that email that states click here to delete the message, I couldn't delete it because I wasn't logged in. Of course, I wasn't logged in because I was never a registered user. Plus, I would search to find an email address to email Nabble that I am getting this email even though I don't have an account. But you can't email Nabble because there isn't an email address given anywhere.

I did not ever ever want to register with Nabble, but had to with my spam email account, just to post this. I spent over 6 days worth of my time trying to get that daily email to stop. WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY? Do you send me this email.

I do remember it started a little over a year ago, when I wanted to post on the Grails (www.grails.org) forum a question about a website I was writing. I thought it was a forum on www.grails.org. But I guess it is a Mailing List and a Nabble one, even though it looks like a forum to me. So I post, and then I start getting those emails. I never had to register with Nabble to post there.

So either stop sending me these emails, or give me an email address I can send an email to to get it to stop. I will send that email from the email address that I am getting those messages. It is not the same email I am using here to post this thread, because I don't want to register with my real email address.

Or, fix your darn application.

The problem is not Nabble. When you subscribe to a mailing list (even when it has a forum front-end) you start receiving mails from there. If you want to leave, you should contact the mail list owner and not the mail list provider. It's like if you join a Yahoo or Google Groups mailing list and then write to Yahoo or Google complaining about receiving e-mails.
Anyway, you might want to try here: http://xircles.codehaus.org/manage_email
Nabble staff. We never ask for passwords.
