Possible to change date of article?

Hi. Articles on my newspaper show the date when it was added. I would like to be able to change this to the actual date when the article was written (e.g. when I am copying the story from somewhere else).
Any ideas?

How many articles do you think will be moved? If there are just a few of them, I can change this for you. If there are hundreds, we would have to add this feature and I am not sure how long this will take.

Hi Hugo - It's not such a big problem - I can live with it for now. Just to clarify, this is what I would like to be able to do. Suppose I have a newspaper with five stories on it, like this:-

 

My Newspaper

Story, 29 March

Story, 25 March

Story, 23 March

Story, 18 March

 

Now suppose I come across a news story from 24 March. I would like to be able to put it between the stories from 23 and 25 March, and be able to change the date accordingly.

 

With your current system, this would not be possible. Therefore I would be grateful if you would consider adding this function at some point in the future.
