Hi
Nice forum by Nabble. I've embedded an Nabble forum in a Weebly website. Problem appears when a poster included a picture (photo) in his post/reply. Just a small part is displayed; the picture is simpy too big it seems. Is there a possibillity e.g. auto-resize setting, so the picture is shrinking automaticly to fit? Sample of the problem is here http://n2.nabble.com/Welkom-op-het-ABC-forum-td2553275.html Thanks in advance for your reply/solution. With regards Joop |

A non-expert guess: auto-resizing may be impossible without the Nabble service sensing the nature of the forum in which embedding occurs.
In the example offered: you embed in a forum that has a particular fixed width. Another forum owner elsewhere might embed Nabble content in a fixed width forum with very different constraints. We have recently a wish list <http://n2.nabble.com/Your-wish-list-for-Nabble-tt2306610.html>, you might like to make your suggestion there. In the meantime: 1. in your web site you could offer a hint/tip to posters, suggesting that pictures should be sized to suit the forum before posting 2. in any case: after posting, the poster can learn the URL of their image (typically by right-clicking on the image) then edit their post to offer a link to the full-size version for example full size :) I hope that helps. Kind regards Graham (Nabble user) |
