Anyone else had this problem?
When someone new tries to join I can get them as far as: Registering... An email has been sent to you. Please follow the instructions in the email to complete the registration process. If you are not receiving emails from Nabble, please check your spam folder. But no email arrives! |

I'm able to sign up on your site and receive the email. It might have been a temporary problem with our email service. Is it still broken?

It may not be Nabble's fault. A number of anti-spam services go over the top and have been known briefly to blacklist all Nabble forums. Similarly, even certain ISP's addresses have been known to be blacklisted.
You'll need to ask your user more questions about the address they use to register and start checking for such possibilities if the problem persists.

Hi barrym,
You do not tell us if you have received the email asking you to confirm your registration. Have you received it? Have you clicked the link within it? It's probably also worth pointing out that they are not "GnuCash Forums" but Nabble hosted archives of GnuCash's mail lists. If you are planning to post to those lists via the archive then further steps need to be taken. It is possible that you have a cookie on your computer/phone that Nabble has generated if you provided your email address without registering. That would account for your address being "known". After getting the message an email will arrive do you check your spam folder to confirm it has not been wrongly classified?

Now I am confused! If it is telling you that you have an existing registration, why are you trying to register again? One possibility is that you think you have a single account at Nabble and that registration at one Nabble forum registers you at all Nabble forums. You'd better approach the folks at GnuCash for help with that one.
I can do my best with logging into Nabble, but I'm not an expert with the Mailman software that they use. (I'd also edit your previous message to obscure your email address, so spammers cannot harvest it.)
