Owner's manual on-line?

Freelance Traveller
Because of some problems I've encountered in trying to set up self-hosting, I'm considering using Nabble as the forums associated with my on-line magazine. It appears that Nabble is claiming to support accessing a messagebase as mailing lists, webforums, and nntp newsgroups, which would meet my core requirements. Being able to make Nabble look/feel like my website and to embed the Nabble app into my website are plusses. However, I can't seem to find anything like a "Forum/Newsgroup/List Owner's Manual" to see how easy it would be to set up a messagebase to allow all three access methods, or to confirm that all three methods are 'single sign-on' (i.e., the same username and password regardless of whether they're using nntp or the webforum to access my messagebase, and only register once to allow access via all methods). I'd also like to be able to look at the various configuration options available to me, before I take the plunge of creating my forum/newsgroups/lists; knowing about restrictions on user names, forum names, newsgroup names, et cetera, would be useful so that I can make sure that *my* AUP is harmonized with Nabble's, and so that I can ensure that I'll be giving my subscribers/members correct information concerning access and configuring client programs.

That is what we have for now. We are in the verge of releasing a new feature that will change the way owners customize their Nabble applications which will allow you to customize almost every aspect of content/design so we have not been updating our documentations for some time now.

Anyway we try to make all applications as intuitive as we can and sometimes when it is not as good as it could be we have a strong community which points out what must be improved and we do it. So I hope that if you just give it a try you will find that everything is very easy and straightforward to use.

Any problem or question you have you can come here and ask for support. Also you can search here to see if your question hasn't already been answered so you can know the answer immediately.

In addition you may want to request premium support where we will be able to assist you customizing and setting up your application even further. For more information you can access the link below:
