Hi, I have a very simple board on Nabble. One of my members posted a topic on top of the main topic/forum. I would like to switch the order around of the topics. Can this be done? And if so, how do I go about it? I'd be happier than a clam at high tide and very appreciative if someone could enlighten me? TIA!

In "Classic view" posts appear in date order with the newest at the top of the list. (You can always view the most recent post throughout all sub-forums by selecting TOPICS VIEW from the main menu - and return to Classic view via MAIN PAGE.)
If you wish to keep a particular topic at the top of the list you can "Pin" it. Display the topic, open the OPTIONS menu and you'll find a PIN TOPIC option there. You can also stop others from replying to it by using LOCK TOPIC. (These features are especially useful for Welcome messages and FAQs about your forum.) If you have more than one topic you wish to pin you can manage the order they appear on the listing at the main forum level. Go to OPTIONS > STRUCTURE > MANAGE PINNED TOPICS. There is also an option there to manage the order of sub-forums (MANAGE SUB-FORUMS). It's also worth experimenting with the other "application" options. MIXED and BOARD and CATEGORY are particularly useful for arranging topics and adding descriptions to sub-forums in ways that may suit your forum.
Volunteer Helper - but recommending that users move off the platform!

Thank you so much for your response, but I deleted my account and message board. I did try all that pinning stuff, but it didn't work. I really don't have the time to try to figure out all the complications involved, nor do I have the time to experiment with the application options. I want a board that is easy and simple to setup and use. Thanx again. ~Kd
