Option

mutualconcern
Hello,
I have read through the "option" issues and have followed the recommendations, yet I still, as an administrator don't have the ability to go into my options.  The "options" link doesn't even change to the ability to choose when I put the cursor over it.  It just not functioning at all, even when I log off.  The forum is wonderful, we are very pleased, however, we really need to be able to get into our "options."  Thank you.

Re: Option

We just figured it out...if anybody else has an issue here's what we did:

click on the permalink option on the upper right hand side.
copy and paste the url right into the browser.
once the page downloads, you should be able to get into your options.

Hope this helps!

Glad you seem to have partially sorted your issue.

It's always a good idea to report both the browser used and the URL of your forum when you have an issue like this. Different forums are served from different Nabble machines and browsers can respond differently to some of Nabble's code too.

You obviously have an embedded forum, in order to have a "Permalink" option, but you don't mention whether you have a redirect in place. It may help others if you can specify these possible differences in your set up too when reporting a problem.

Just a Volunteer Nabble Helper - because the nice folk at Nabble have helped me!

Re: Option

Ah! I should have spotted the "coffe"! No wonder the URL didn't work first time!

It's not just the OPTIONS menu that doesn't work. I am finding that the whole forum is dead (and tucked up behind your menu, so that when I try to click on any forum link only your main menu flickers).

I am not familiar with  "Xara HTML filter v.4.0.4.653", which the code of your page says you are using to create your site, but it appears that you have not found the correct option within it to use to place the embedding code.

I suspect that you have just opened the source file and tucked it in at the end of the code. This doesn't work because of the code in your page:

<div class="xr_ap" id="xr_xr" style="width: 1128px; height: 884px; top:25px; left:50%; margin-left: -564px;">
...
</div>

This appears to define where your content must go, and you have placed the embedding code outside this division.

Xara should have a method of inserting the Nabble embedding code within the <div>.
