New user having problems

sparkle
Two things - that might be stupid questions to regular users.

Just started with a forum for my blog today - but have to keep registering to get into Nabble - neither of my emails I registered under work!

Also - with the forum - is there a way for user's email addresses to be kept hidden from each other?

That should not be true.

And you can't possibly be telling the full story as you have to register on this forum to post here, so clearly you are able to register on a Nabble forum. Please give more accurate and full details of your problem, (for example, what do you mean by "keep registering"? The phrase suggests more than twice to me, yet you refer to "neither of my emails" which suggests only two attempts). Also quote the URL of the forums concerned.

When you respond please confirm that you received and auto-response email from Nabble for each forum hosted by Nabble that you attempted to register with - and that you clicked the link found in that email?

Also bear in mind that every forum is separate. Nabble hosts lots. You need to register with each forum individually if you want to participate in a number. (You seem to be saying "I want my front door key to open every door in the street." I'm sure your neighbours wouldn't approve!)

is there a way for user's email addresses to be kept hidden from each other?
Forum administrators can see users address. Register yourself as another user and keep that one without "Administrator" rights and you'll see the difference. Further, Nabble's addresses are munged so that no forum user will see another member's address. Not only that, they can't pass any address they use to post via email to your forum or blog as the munged addresses are linked to the individual own email address.
