Need to stop redirect

Dralger
So I'm using Xara Web Designer 10 Premium.

I had a problem with the built in embedding of the Nabble forum (using the code it gave me), it would not auto-resize the iframe or provide a scroll bar so it would end up cut off.

I manage to solve this by just using the Embed Website Widget that treats it as an iframe and pointed at the Nabble URL to generate iframe code.

However I didn't realize that this would break my admin functionality as I'm not viewing it through the embedded link... and I already setup a redirect to a forums.html on my website.  I can't find a way to get my original Nabble embed code so that I can stop the redirect.

Sadly I don't see a way to just login and manage my forum on Nabble's website.  So it looks like I'm stuck?  I've seen other users with issues like this and it appears the only way to resolve is to request a manual redirect reset here?

If so, please assist.

I'm not sure I understand your problem.

The people who need redirection removing by Nabble are those who have changed the URL of web site in which their forum is embedded and there is no longer a page at the URL where the forum is re-directed to - but you're not telling us that is your problem. You're saying you've just made the space where your forum is displayed too small to access the login link. If I have misunderstood, please explain further. If not, read on...

I understand that Xara Web Designer is stand alone editing software, where you create pages locally on your own computer then upload them to a server - not some on-line service - so...

Why don't you save a copy of your current problem page then create a completely empty page, (with none of the clutter that takes up all the space) embed your forum in it, save it with the same file name as your problem page, upload it, so replacing your problem page. You should be able to access all parts of the forum and remove the redirect.

Then you can make corrections to your problem page, upload it again, replacing your temporary "empty" page, and test it fully, before re-installing the redirect.

You don't tell us either the URL of your forum or your site, so we can't tell you your redirect code, but it's pretty simple to work out. It takes the form:
<a id="nabblelink" href="http://your-forum-url.nabble.com/">Your Forum Name</a>
<script src="http://your-forum-url.nabble.com/embed/f1"></script>
The embedding code will vary slightly if you have embedded a sub-forum rather than the "home page" of your forum.
Volunteer Helper - but recommending that users move off the platform!

Just a Volunteer Nabble Helper - because the nice folk at Nabble have helped me!
