Nabble photo galleries?

Are there any photo gallery examples or showcases which can be viewed?  I am curious as to how they look and if one would be useful for our site.

Note how the single line of thumbnails scrolls left and right. This is because it is set as a sub-forum in a "Mixed" application. When it is a the root application it will appear differently. The appearance will depend where it is set, so it's best to test it out yourself. Of course, by editing the NAML code behind a gallery, you could make it do almost anything!

I find the big problem with the default Gallery application is that there is no automated way to add links to move progressively through one main image to another. You have to return to the Gallery's thumbnail screen to move to another image - or create the links manually.

I should add that the gallery page itself at:

has been customised. The NAML was edited both to remove the sidebar (the view_gallery_page macro) and also to display four columns of thumbnails in place of three (the gallery_table_row macro).
