Nabble has become unusable

florin.g
I used to depend on the option list drop down at the top right of the page.

That gave me quick access to all favorite projects I'm tracking. It is now gone.

How am I to find my seven projects? How long will it take? I started using the search field  yet the usability is horrible.

What's gotten into these guys from nabble?

Well, anyways, does anyone know an alternative way to access those (programming) forums without the hassle of nabble?

Thanks.

hi florin.g,

If you go to the homepage (www.nabble.com), you will see a link in the footer: "Old Nabble1 Catalog".
The link goes to: http://www.nabble.com/freeforums.html
What happened is that we are moving the traffic to Nabble2 now, since Nabble1 isn't supported anymore.

Well, thanks.

Will you keep the page for long or is that going to disappear soon? Frankly I need a shortcut to my favorite forums. Why would you remove such a basic feature?

I need a shortcut to my favorite forums.
1. visit the forum

2. below the name of the forum, click the flag

3. alongside your name, top right, click the red flag.

The red flag at top right is your shortcut to flagged items of all types.

Regards
Graham

Hi,

there is something basic missing in nabble.com : how to find a forum?
The search function cannot help me find the forum on "Meld" for example.
I am looking for forums/mailing list about different software, but the only way I find them is by chance! (I found "git" this way, good thing I bookmarked it asap, I would not be able to find it again by myself!)
I guess there is a serious usability issue here. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I need a way to search on "forums titles" only in nabble.com.
How to do that?

Thank you for your help.

At the bottom of Nabble homepage there is a "Old Nabble1 Catalog" link that goes to:
http://www.nabble.com/freeforums.html
You can search the old forums from that page.
Does this solve your problem?
