Nabble adds ?by-user=t to URLs

Erik Krause
Hello,

Nabble seems to add the string ?by-user=t to URL's that have no path or closing slash in the PanotoolsNG nabble group: <http://panotoolsng.586017.n4.nabble.com/>
F.e. http://www.example.com is changed to http://www.example.com/?by-user=t which causes an error message on many pages.

For an example see
http://panotoolsng.586017.n4.nabble.com/Panorama-calculator-tt3062175.html
The URL should be as displayed but the link has this string added.

best regards

Hi Erik, the by-user parameter is added to prevent errors in our logs from links posted by users. Without this information, our error logs get full of bad requests because users post broken links like "/something.html" (i.e., no domain specified, which goes to the Nabble domain), etc. I will discuss this issue internally with the team and look for a solution for URLs that end with a slash. Thanks for reporting this issue.
