My site not recognizing registerd posters.

ClaudeMobetta
Hello -

My site not recognizing registerd posters. Like me.

When I login in fer a test - it says  “Since you are not a registered user, we must check that you are a human.” then I get the “You gotta do the code bit” ---- BUt I am a registered visitor.... I own the site... and it clearly shows me as logged in?????

When correctly working - Is a a fact that a non registered poster - has no choice of Fonts or HTML code?

If a registered posters is posting - don't they get the top toolbar like = "Image - B - I - Link -  More"            ???

Thanks...

Hello -

It seems to be working now - 15 minutes later -
I am correct that a non registereds pooster won't have the Nabble/LOA Toolbar - correct?
But only registered posters have a toolbar correct"

Thanks - Claude

I have posted on your forum as an unregistered user and confirm that there is NO toolbar and no "Message is in HTML format" box in those circumstances.

Greg -

Thanks - I appreciate that....
I posted a "Registration" for new peeps on LOA and pinned it...
Does it look right to you?
I used a new phony screen name - to get the sequence of registering

Thanks for any ---- Claude

Not quite. You say:
Then to set your Profile:
1>Then sign on in your LOA username -
2>People
3>Look for your name
4>click on it
5>look for Account Settings
It's much easier, once you've logged on to click on your name at the top right and choose "Account settings" there than look for your name under people.

I would always recommend that you run a second username on any forum so you can test exactly what "registered", "members" and other users might see.

There's one more thing. On your welcome message you say:
As a matter of fact - I nor any member will ever have your Email Address...
That's not true. As an administrator, you have access to any registered user's email address. Just click on their username (by a post or under the People list) and you see it at the top of the screen that appears. Note: Other users don't see the address, but do have an option to email the user.
