Yes. You can embed one sub-forum on one site and another on a different one. Each sub-forum could be on a different sit. There is no limit on the numbers.
I want to make it a largly used forum/blog/newspaper across multiple websites. That way I can monitor one forum , but have it on multiple sites.
Nothing to stop that, that I am aware of, but should you not want the members of one forum use the breadcrumb menu to be able to climb to the root forum and then down the tree structure to another, where presumably the intended audience would be separate and different, you would need a moderately sophisticated range of "Groups" and permissions set to prevent this.
