Dear Sir,
Should there not be a provision in the Law that before filing the Divorce Petition on any ground, the petitioner should give registered open notice in writing through post as well as through some channel? Nowadays, guys and their familis are planning/schemeing to break the marriage with the prior advice of lawyers when they are not satisfied with the money/Streedhan etc. got in the marriage. Many of the Guys's family have become so clever that they first try to provoke the new-wedded girl and their parents by their harassments/tortures. Their first aim remains that somehow girl may die of their harrassments/tortures and they (in-laws) have not to do anything. When they donot succeed, then they file divorce petition on false, misconceived and concocted grounds/allegations.
There should be strict ruleslaws that both the parties donot give/accept any of the "Streedhan" without signatures of both parties and at least two witnesses from each side. Dowry is main cause of death of newly wedded women.
Nowadays, equal money is spent on boy/girl to make them capable. But Boys' family still lives in the previous era that they had the right to get/extract dowry cash etc. from Girl's family.
There should be strict for Boy's family also that they should not accept any of the "Streedhan/dowry" without giving and taking the signature with at least four witnesses.
