Locking Room On Website

lhs_msa@yahoo.com
I am having trouble locking my room on my website. Right now, anyone can enter, and post a comment without logging in. Why is that possible?

Thanks for the response.

That is the default setting, so is the expected behaviour on Nabble.

Log in as an administrator and go to OPTIONS > USERS > CHANGE PERMISSIONS and remove the permissions that you don't want "Anyone" to have. Most people want "Anyone" to view the forum but only "Authenticated" to "Create_topic" and "Reply". Change any row setting to CUSTOM add the permissions you want for other classes of visitor.

Note that sub-forums INHERIT the permissions from their parent forum. If you want to create a "members-only" sub-forum, for example, you will need to alter the permissions for that sub-forum at that level.

Volunteer Helper - but recommending that users move off the platform!
