Lock forum

Is there a way to lock a forum for new posts?

I want to let old posts online for a while. New posts should go to another forum. Is this possible? I didn't find anything in settings section (Options).

Go to:

Options > Users > Change Permissions

and remove the permissions "Create_topic" and "Reply" from all user groups.

Volunteer Helper - but recommending that users move off the platform!
Once the admin for GregHelp now deleted.
