Lock a page?

Eric78
I use Weebly and I have embeded my Nabble-forum in my webpage. I want to have a locked page on website who only members of special group in my Nabble-forum can visit.

I am not sure from the way you phrase your question whether you are looking for a way of locking people out of the page on your site where your forum is embedded, (a question for Weebly support) or if you are asking for a way, within your forum to allow access only to certain people.

If the second option, then you need to add your "members of special group" to a group of their own and give that group the appropriate permissions.

If you are not currently using the pre-defined group "Members" that Nabble provides you can use that. Otherwise go to OPTIONS > USERS > MANAGE USERS & GROUPS and create a group for them.

Having created the group (or having decided to use "Members") then add all the people you want to that group.

Once all your "members of special group" are in the group you will use, then you need to adjust permissions on the appropriate page for that group. Go to the page others should not see and then select OPTIONS > USERS > CHANGE PERMISSIONS. Remove the "View" permission from all groups except those that should see the page. Make sure that the group that should see the page has the "View" permission selected.

So you need to turn to Weebly for support on that - though I've no idea how you would expect Weebly to know which visitors to your main site happen to be members of your special group on Nabble.

I think you may need to think it out again.
