I want to be able to have users of my website be able to post in the forum without having to navigate away from my page. I have been successful in getting my embed code into the website (Weebly powered) but it creates a link that opens the forum in a new page. Is it possible to have the forum embedded right on my page so it appears fully integrated?
Please help! Warm regards. |

Steem - Take a look at my site, also on Weebly, and tell us if that is what you are wanting to do: Bullnose Forum. And note that I have the forum on the first/home page of my site, but that there are another 400 or so pages behind the forum.

Hi Gary,
Yes! That's exactly what I'm looking for. I'd like my forum on the 'Discussion' page of our website. How were you able to get the forum to appear within your home page? Thank you! Emma |

I had this same problem and Greg helped me sort it out. But, let's see if I can help you.
Under Options/Embedding Options do you have "Redirect them to" selected, as shown below? ![]()

Hi Gary,
I'm not sure I did help you with this particular problem. I think the OP is saying that all he see is the Nabble link, and that's why users have to navigate away from the forum. That maybe because he is not using the right option within Weebly where the code is being pasted, or is this a side-effect of https:// ? I forget!

Here's the thread/topic to which I am referring. Maybe I am not understanding the problem correctly?

Gary, yes that is correct. you have them directed to the paid you embedded on instead of the nabble app site itself.

So I've found where is says embedded options, but its saying that I can't alter options until the forum is embedded. I've got it embedded and navigated to the forum through the embedded link, but there are still no options popping up. Any thoughts? Thank you for your help so far!

Can you give us a screenshot of what you get on the Options/Embedding Options page?

Hi Gary,
From what steem711 is saying it sounds as if Nabble does not recognise that the forum is embedded and that is also what we are told is the case (only a link appears) so I think what is needed is a screenshot of the screen in Weebly where the code is being inserted,. I know others using both Weebly and Wix have used the wrong option and had this kind of problem.

Good idea, Greg.
Steem711 - If you go to the page in Weebly where you have your code embedded and then click Edit Custom HTML, that will pop up the code. Take a screenshot of that for us, please.

Can you edit your posts and add the following to the code for your pics so we can see them? To do that you can add the width="100%" text like I've done below. Or, if that's too big you can scale the percentage down.
nabble_img src="Bullnose_Embedding.jpg" border="0" width="100%"/ Anyway, here's what my embedding looks like. And it appears to be different than yours, although I'll let someone more qualified try to explain the differences - if any. ![]()

It looks your forum link has 'forum' in the URL, I wonder if that has something to do with it!

That worked, but can you do the same on the embedding options? I think we are getting close to the problem.

Actually, what I meant was lower on that page - Options/Embedding Options. Here's mine:
