Is there a nabble program to download to put on my own server?

The title says it all. I want to have more control over my forum. Meaning that I want to be able to set it up where only some people can see some catgories and some can not. Also I want to manually enter in members on our forum. The only way I can see that I could do this if there was a nabble program you can download to have these features.

I have vbulletin now and I love all the features you have with it. BUT I can not afford to lease it for $100.00 each year.

We don't have an installable Nabble available. We may have this in one year, but this is not our priority at this point. From what I could see, you need a private forum and this is available. You can create a forum from our homepage and click on "Options > Users > Who can view & post". Then you select that only members can view the forum.

Sorry, we are still working on high priority features. But an installable version shouldn't be too far. Maybe in six months, but it is difficult to predict.
