I'm a little confused on this issue. I came here seeking a solution to a tech problem I'm experiencing, and while searching the topics got caught up in the "Free vs. Paid Support" thread. For the most part, I followed the thread all the way to its last post which was back in April. Now, I see that by attempting to start a new thread you are taken to a payment processing page. Perhaps, I'm wrong, but I didn't see any of the details of this service ($10 down and $2 per week) being discussed or announced in any thread. And, due to the age of some of the posts I'm seeing I'm just not clear on what's going on with this program. Is it still active and will it contunue to be supported into the forseeable future?
My tech issue is this... I'm using 4 Nabble apps... newspaper, forum, gallery and blog. I'm very impressed with how well they work. I would have no problem with paying for the use of this software. I only started using them last week and embedded all 4 into my website in the last couple of days. This morning, I was adding "content" to the forum and gallery in the sense that I was posting threads to the forum and photos to the gallery... just the way any user would approach either task or effort through my website. However, now neither one of these embedded apps downloads. I get the "loading" graphic, but the page does NOT download... it just hangs on the "loading" graphic. Meanwhile, the other 2 apps that I did not work on this morning continue to function flawlessly... just as the other 2 were prior to this morning. What is the possible issue here?... and is paying for support a smart idea?... I don't want to lose any money (even just $10) on a program that's idle or being discontinued.
