Instalation Problems Need Help

When Itry to install LibreOffice I get a message that reads " Please exit LibreOffice 3.5 & the Libre Office Quickstarter before you continue.  ... "  The problem is that I do not have it open I am just trying to install the programs.  When I click the custom option and disable the Quickstarter I still get the same message.  I hope some one can help me with this.
