I received a message saying my forum was to be closed due to inactivity.
I don't understand as the forum has 2-4 visitors and notices daily.
Is this because I, the administrator, have not placed anything on the site of late?
Please explain.

Your forum probably didn't receive many visits recently. But this is not a problem since you can save it by clicking on the "Don't delete this forum" button. But to answer your question, we only measure activity based on the number of visits, not on the number of messages posted.

This then leads me to ask how long is the site need to be left before this kicks in? As mentioned people generally look at this on a daily basis and myself about every 3 days.

Are you sure the message was about the same application you are talking about?

Also, visiting the application is not the same thing as visiting a site where it is embedded because visitors may never go to the page that has it embedded.

I don't quite understand the message appearing on my website. When I go into the site as the administrator the page does not show this message. I re-published the site but the message still appears when go go through the web to access the page. Hopefully you can read the message from this.

I could not read it all but I read some info.
Please, try to clear your browse cache/cookies. I guess this will fix it.
