Image size dialogue box....wrong.

I have been using Nabble for a year or two and there is one niggling thing regarding inserting an image that really needs to be changed.

You get 3 choices of image size 250x250, 500x500 and 750x750, all of which are misleading. If I have an image 1500 by 750 and choose 500x500 am I going to get an image 500x500.....no. I will get an image 500x250.  As it should be.

The choices are width only and the length is proportional. The options should simply say width, 250, 500 or 750.

Hi Michael,

You've obviously never tried inserting a portrait orientation image. The image to the right (originally 1952x2592) was produced by asking Nabble to resize it to 250x250. As you see it is the longer side that is 250px not the width!

Maybe the column on the dialogue needs to look more like this:

Resize longer side to:
( ) No Resize
( ) Small (250px)
( ) Medium (500px)
( ) Large (750px)

I stand corrected Greg. But as we both agree the current dialogue is misleading.

Your suggestion is perfect.

Maybe you can use your vast influence to get them to make the change. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes.
