I am not sure if I can subscribe to a mailing list

Hi

I tried to subscribe to the scala mailing list and I got an e-mail back which I include at the end
(I have replaced my e-mail by john@home, the equal signs are really there)

Have I subscribed or not?

I guess you are not subscribed, but I am not sure. Although Nabble archives that mailing list, we don't control it. I think you should look for more information here: http://www.scala-lang.org/node/199

I found a way to subscribe by sending an empty e-mail straight to the e-mail list.

It just seems that the button for registration are not working well.

Anyway, all is ok now, thanks for your help.
