How to remove TOPIC VIEW button

Ken43
Hi Folks,
I have a WEB site:-
http://sussex-advertiser.23692.x6.nabble.com/
and I want to remove the TOPIC VIEW button near the top of the page.
How can I achieve this?
With thanks.
Ken

Re: How to remove TOPIC VIEW button

In essence you need to remove the macro "topics_action_link" from the appropriate macro - it depends which application you are using as to which that will be.

Hunt around after you click the "Edit this page" link towards the bottom of the forum page.

However, I am curious about why you would wish to prevent your users from quickly identifying which sub-forums contain the latest posts and generally to get some understanding of what are popular or long standing topics. It's a useful feature. If you search this forum you'll find that some actually want to make that the default view on their forum.
Volunteer Helper - but recommending that users move off the platform!

Thank you for that Greg it was easy to find.
However, on reflection I think you are right, I am going to keep it as it is a useful feature.
Out of interest, the reason I originally wanted to remove it, was that a lot of seniors (older folk) use the forum and it can confuses them but I think that is my problem.
Thanks again.
