How can I make the avatar have no border and a clear bg?

Hi everyone,

Currently all the little avatar images near the posts I make have a grey frame and a black background.  How can I give them their clear background and remove the border?

By default, your forum will not have the colour scheme you describe, so we need to to see your forum to work out what you have done and how to change things as you would wish. Please post the URL.

That's not a Nabble issue. It is a problem with your image file.

You need to use the appropriate settings in your image editor or, possibly, use a different editor.

I'll try exporting from another software BUT, its from Photoshop, its a PNG for web, AND it displays perfectly (with transparent BG ) in Nabble on the account settings screen.  So it must be the way Nabble is reducing the image size.

Exporting the image from any online convertor makes no difference at all.  It shows fine as full size 100x100 in the account settings screen...when its reduced BY NABBLE it gets the black background.

Any other ideas?

Oops!  I suspect you're right! I had forgotten that it would be Nabble that would do the resize, and that you lose control of the image. Apologies!

It looks as if we'll need to wait for a fix from the Nabble team.

As a stopgap, I suppose you could upload a version that includes a background that matches your chosen forum colour scheme.
