How Safe is a Nabble Forum?

Just come on because of changes to forum (avatars/stars etc) and was reading about backups of forums.

I do regular backups but read that these can only be used by Nabble to restore the forum.

I have lots of information on my forum which has been going for 18 months and would hate to have it all lost - both for me and the other users.

Should I be backing up important stuff in another way at all?

Just keep downloading the backups. I also recommend you use a program (search for website downloader) to download the pages as you see them('cuz if you lose your forum, while your waiting for nabble to restore it, you can put the pages on a web host)
