Help - need to change E-mail /owner for old post

eschmahl
This post was created long ago with my old - but no longer existing e-mail account.
How to get the ownership ?

- thanks Edith

Ideally I want to have this post removed , because I entered data that should not be visible

Hi Edith,

There's little point in deleting your own posts in this topic as the replies all contain complete quotes of your posts and you won't have rights to delete the posts of other users.

Your posts were made as an unregistered owner, so your email address has not been stored by Nabble.

My understanding is that when a post is made as an unregistered user a cookie is placed on your computer so that you will automatically make further posts with the same id. Of course, after such a period you are likely to have changed computers and not moved that cookie to your new machine. I have no idea whether it is easy to mock up an appropriate cookie and regain control over your posts in that way.

Hi Greg,

thanks for the reply - I understand that I cannot get the ownership and cannot delete the post.
But perhaps Nabble can delete the post ?
Or Nabble is  able to make the post anonymous ?

Thanks
   Edith
