Have seperate moderators for each subsection

Boss
Is this possible? I am running my school's forum and there are 90 teachers and their sections need to be moderated by themselves.

Well, in this case, you can create groups and give them specific rights.

In the main page, go to Options > Users > Manage users & groups
Here you can create all the groups that you want.

after this, go to one subforum and click on options > users > change permissions
You can edit here the rights for each group(Only for that sub-forum)

You can do this with all subforums and give rights. Notice that this will take you a lot of time, because if you have 90 teachers and you want to give specific rights to each one, you will need to create one group for each teacher!

90 separate groups is a huge number to create and manage.

If you trust your teachers not to mess with each others sub-forums, you could get away with just one "Teachers"/"Moderators" group.

A half-way house would be to create four or five moderator groups,  and allocate them randomly amongst the 90 teachers, so it would be chance if they happened to discover that they could "attack" another teacher's forum.

Alternatively, it could be done by Department, so if a teacher were sick a colleague could edit their forum while they were away.
