The author of a post or a forum Administrator can delete posts from the Nabble database, but be aware that anyone subscribed to the forum will have a copy that will not be erased by that process. Additionally, any of the web archiving services may have taken a snapshot of the the forum between the post being made and deleted, so there can be no guarantee that all trace of the post will be removed from the Internet.
