Frustrating experience trying to post

Hi,

 I am trying to post to the Grails users forum. I have subscribed (multiple times and in various ways) but my post is just sitting there waiting for acceptance/moderation. No-one seems to be contacting me and I can't seem to get anyone to respond/accept the post. My preferences seem to indicate I am subscribed (though it does say read-only) How do I post to this forum? It all seems a bit complicated just to make a post.

Hi Hugo

I'm experiencing the same problem. I'm trying to post to the grails user forum, but my post is waiting to be accepted for nearly one day now. I have a subscription for grails (but it says read only). Any chance to get my post through?

I am also seeing the same problem with my post in the Hudson forum.  I re-posted once after a day went by and my post has still not been accepted after another day.  How can I find out if the problem is with my post contents or if there a problem with my account?  Should I delete the post and re-post a second time?

You are subscribed to the forum, not to the real mailing list. Please read the description of the forum:
http://n4.nabble.com/Grails-user-f1312389.html
So please send an email to that address and finish the subscription process. After that, you can remove your forum subscription (use the link in the footer of each email sent by Nabble).

Do you receive all new mailing list emails every day? You should receive them if you are a subscriber.

You can delete your post because Nabble won't resend it to the mailing list. You can try sending an email directly to the mailing list address and see if it gets through (it will be archived at Nabble if it works fine).

I never receive any emails from the forum.

I followed the instructions. I requested to become subscribed. I get the email which tells me to reply to the email and I do (did this twice).  Still nothing. My post is still not showing and I do not get emails from the forum.  

I dont know what else to do.  I have followed the instructions and I have replyed to the emails to become a subscriber.

But did you try sending your question to the mailing list as an email instead of using the Nabble interface? If you are a subscriber, your email will get through the list and will be archived at Nabble.
