Forum responding slowly?

Recently our new forum appears to be running alot slower, taking time to load each page/forum section (approx 10-15 seconds).

Ah its back online again.

I'm guesing Server N4 has been having a hard time. ;-(

Do you provide a installable application for nabble yet. I would like to host my own forum.

That server had an issue with the network cable, but it has been replaced and things are stable now. We do plan to have an installable Nabble in the future, but this is months off.

I'm still getting some issues with N4 server, The time taken to have a page render is sometimes 15 seconds.

Is this server overloaded?

I understand this is a free forum and I'm not sure what to expect in regard to performance but waiting for pages to load is painful.

I came across Nabble by chance and really like the simple/clear layout and ease of use, so I'm not wanting to move to another forum such as invisionfree.com etc I hope this is just a temporary issue with this server and you can get to the root cause of the performance problems soon.

The n4 server (where your forum is hosted) isn't overloaded, so it might have been a glitch. In any case, I have changed the configurations and this should improve performance. Remember that once in a while we release the latest code and this puts some load on the server (mainly when the cache is cleared), but we usually do this at night or low-traffic hours. Please take a look and let me know if you still have issues.
