Forum - Not Working Correctly

Gavin
Hi

Just wanted to say thank you for this great forum software :)

My forum was working ok until a few hours ago, I have embedded my forum into my website and working on it before I advertise the site.

When I always used to click onto a topic or category witin the forum it would always go to that category but to the top of the forum page again, which was great.

However now if i scroll down and click on a category or topic, it gos to the right page but it does not go to the top of the forum like it use to, it just stays in the same postition, which means it is not showing the latest posts and eole are not able to view the category information without having to scroll to the top of the page, seems something has gone wrong.

I did this afternoon pay to have the adverts removed and the error has been since then.

Could you please help and the forum is no good when doing this as latest topics ect will not be automatically be shown.

Hope this makes sense and you can help

The website is called

www.ba-shar.co..uk

Kind Regards

I took a look at:
http://www.ba-shar.co.uk/ba-shar-forum.html
and see the problem.

The links I checked seem to be jumping you to a point at the bottom of the window, where the adverts should be. Strange!

I'm sure one of the Nabble team will be along shortly with news that it's been fixed or what needs to be done.

(I confess I'm always suspicious of sites created with online site builder tools, so they may report that its an issue with create.net.)
Volunteer Helper - but recommending that users move off the platform!

Hi Greg

Thanks do much for you reply,

Yes it is really strange, I think it must be something to do with
Me buying the adverts, as before then it was working perfect.

I hope this can get sorted if not it will be really arkward for customers to use.

Fingers crossed, and thanks again

It seems that your site keeps the scroll at the same position. As you are navigating inside the frame( our app), your outside site keeps static, so it looks like you are going to the bottom of the frame.
Is there any configuration set to manage links on your site?

Hi

Many thanks for getting back to me, I have been away on holiday.

I have spoke with the team I use to do my website, they say it can be done but it would not be some code they would do for me or support.

Have you any ideas of any html code that I can put in the same page just so it go back to the top.

It was working perfect until I paid to have the adverts taken off, really strange.

Hope you can help

Kind Regards

Hi

This is the message I got back from support, it may help....

With the script it is all being loaded into the same page and so it's not refreshing or going
back to the top. The page doesn't know that the content has changed and that it should go
back to the top because the script is loading it all in dynamically. You can override this and
force it to go back to the top with some external code however this is something we cannot
provide.

Their support said almost the same I said.
I don't know how to fix it. Maybe you should embed your in another position.
