Hi,
My forum is http://the-spa-elf-s-forum.1089669.n5.nabble.com. I have embeded to my web. But the forum cannot display recently because my web has changed to Https://. But the forum url is just http. This is the reason for why it doesn't display. Is it possible to make the forum url begin with https:// ? I have registered an account in nabble when I created the forum, but now there's nowhere I can login to check my account. The account I signed up with nabble is not the one I register for the nabble support. In order to post in Nabble Support, I have to registered a new account. Can anyone tell me what has happened to nabble and how I can settle the https problem? Thank you very much. Sally Tsui |
Initially your forum displays perfectly properly. However, your main site seems to do a refresh shortly afterwards and it is that that causes your forum then to fail. If you click the link that appears after the refresh the forum again briefly appears - only to do a refresh once again. This is not a Nabble issue, but some setting on your server or more likely the JavaScript you use on your page. It is certainly not any change directly related to it serving via https://. "Nabble Support" is a different forum to your own so, of course, you need a different account. You should be able to login to each forum with the email address and password you first created on each forum. However, the refresh issue means that even if you do succeed in reaching a login screen you don't have time to enter your login details before the next refresh occurs. Nothing has "happened" at Nabble. This problem is entirely due to what has happened on your main site. You need to sort that out - most likely one of your JavaScript routines is causing a refresh. The best you can ask Nabble of Nabble is to remove the "Redirect to:" option, so that the Nabble forum can stand alone outside your site until you get that sorted with your main site's host.
