For one of three topics in a forum: no option to move or delete

Graham Perrin
At <http://n2.nabble.com/Demonstrations-of-Nabble-features-f1595978.html> (currently closed to the public) we had three topics, two of which have been successfully moved to a different forum.

The one remaining topic is:

 * the product of an HTML e-mail that was sent to the 'Post by email…' address.

For this one topic, the 'More' menu is limited to:

 * Print post
 * Permalink

— no option to move.

AFAIR during experimentation, one of the three topics (not necessarily the one remaining) was set to disallow replies. This may have preceded some other broader change to settings for the forum that contains the topic.

(Of the two topics successfully moved elsewhere, one was similarly the product of an HTML e-mail sent to the 'Post by email…' address.)

For troubleshooting purposes, co-ownership of the affected forum is currently extended to
Will <Nabble>
and I can extend it to any other Nabble person willing to assist.

No rush :)

TIA
Graham

Source of the affected topic was a blog, viewed in Safari and sent via SMTP using Apple Mail

On closer inspection:

* in Classic view, the More menu is limited to
— Print post
— Permalink

* in List and Threaded views, the one message in the topic can not be viewed
— limited to the subject line, with no expansion

* in List and Threaded views, the Options menu does include 'Move topic to…', but
— selecting the option results in an error 404
— error 404 at the site from which the HTML e-mail originated
— (not at n2.nabble.com)

* in List and Threaded views:
— no option to delete the topic.

I can happily delete this particular (sub-)forum — it was created for demonstration purposes only — but I'll not do so until after Nabble administrators have had an opportunity to consider the issue.

= Environment =

HTML originated in Safari 3.2.1 (5525.27.1) on Mac OS X 10.5.5, whilst reading a blog.

HTML e-mail sent using Apple Mail 3.5 (929.4/929.2), using SMTP.

In fairness, this is issue is highly exceptional. Normal users of a forum will not address a forum in this way (should not aim to re-present the rich content of a blog within a Nabble forum).
