Folder categories

Astrodalsland
Hi. Thanks for a nice product.

On our forum we would like to add folder categories. Have tried the "sub-forum" function but it feels it's not what we are looking for? We just get subfolders under subfolder under subfolder... all the various subfolders need to go under one and the very same main folder, or as an alternative (even better) just several individual main folders.

So far every individual post/thread lists in chronological order. If I would like to have, lets say 10 different categories, in where the members post their threads respectively, how would I do that?

For instance, all threads regarding Apples to go under a folder category "Apples". All threads regarding bananas to go under the created folder "Bananas".... is there a way?

Thanks a million.

You will get sub-folder under sub-folder if you create each sub-folder while in the the sub-folder you have just created. Just make sure you are back at the main (root) folder before creating another and you get what you want.

In that case do do the same, but set the main folder as a different application. Try "Mixed", "Category" or "Board" for various different effects.

Just make sure you are in the right sub-folder when you make a post. "Apple" posts need to be made in the "Apples" sub-forum that you create and "Banana" posts need to be made in the "Banana" sub-forum!
