Emailed posts displaying very strangely!

Hi,

So sorry to bother you again! You've only recently fixed our issues and I am very grateful!

We had a problem with the links to posts from email. Now we have a different problem with this. When you go to a post from the email link, the way it displays it is HUGE. Although this doesn't stop us from posting, the general consensus is that it's irritating. Sorry if that sounds petty!

Here's an example:

If you click on the threads directly from the home page, they display differently like this:

Just to check if my understanding is correct. You are complaining that it is leading you to the forum itself, not the site with the forum embedded, right?

Yes that's correct. I'm sorry I didn't explain it very well at all.  Now I understand fully what the problem is. The person who runs the site doesn't have full access through the email link. Only to the forum (as you've described it).

Hi Birdo, the system has an option to fix that problem. The administrator of the forum should open the embedded forum and click on "Options > Embedding options". There is a redirection option that the owner should select. Please talk to Dusty and let me know if you still have issues.

so sorry to be back again. I passed the info on to Dusty and she said that this happens:

I guess I need to figure out where I put the code because it must be incorrect.  I get this message when I follow your directions:

Redirect options are available only when the forum is embedded.

When I type in www.addisonssupport.com, I get the forum embedded. If I click my bookmark http://addison-s-support.1651760.n2.nabble.com/.  I get the crazy, big page.

Yes, I did try when the forum IS embedded.  I did replace the embedding code given on the embedding options page.  I still get this message on the Embedding Options page:

As the message explains, that option is only available when you view the forum embedded in the website. Dusty probably tried that find that option from the crazy, big page. But don't worry, I've set the redirection for you. Now it works correctly :-)
